The ISCA Intensive

Under the leadership and guidance of Hunter Beaumont and with the support of Lutz Bessel, The International Intensive Workshop on Systemic Resolution has been held in the South of Germany, first at Zist and since 2006, at Kloster Bernried. It has gained widespread international recognition as a unique learning opportunity that offers in a beautiful environment, a one week learning experience that includes about ten of the best known and respected first and second generation facilitators and trainers from around the world.

Hunter Beaumont has expressed his desire and decision to step back after the 2012 Intensive and has invited ISCA’s Board to continue with the Intensive’s tradition. The Board will continue enjoying the support of Lutz Bessel with regards to the organization of the course, which will continue being held at its Kloster Bernried privileged location.

Our first task has been to choose a Program Director to lead the Intensives into this new stage. We have unanimously felt that Guni Baxa from Austria is the person to take on this role. Guni has been part of Systemic Constellations Work since very early and has been part of the Intensives since 2001. She is widely respected both in the German speaking countries and in the different countries where she has shared her experience and insights. We wish her the best, and we look forward to the feminine touch she will bring to bear in fulfilling this challenging role.

Together with Hunter, Gunthard Weber and Jakob Schneider

have also announced their wish to retire after 2012. They are also part of the first generation of facilitators, and both carry a widespread recognition and respect in the Constellations World. They shall all be missed. We share these developments with deep appreciation for each of them and the role and contribution they have made, and also with regret, because we shall miss their presence, unsurpassed experience and human quality.

Endings also imply beginnings, and we are pleased to announce that as of the 2013 Intensive, the faculty will be joined by Constanze Potschka-Lang, Ah Fung and Jan Jacob Stam. Constanze and Ah Fung are long standing Bernried alumni, each with extensive training experience in Europe and Asia. Jan Jacob is the founder of the Bert Hellinger Instituut of the Netherlands and has taught the work for many years in many countries. Our welcome and best wishes to them.

The faculty for 2013 will include : Guni Baxa (Program Director), Christine Blumenstein-Essen, Francesca M. Boring, Stephan Hausner, Judith Hemming, Albrecht Mahr, Jane Peterson, Victoria Schnabel, plus Constanze, Fung and Jan Jacob.
